Continuing with the LEGO Star Wars theme, I worked on my B-wing set that I got for Christmas. The B-wing is a more screen-accurate version of the official 2014 B-wing. Ten Numb for the win! I changed the laser canons and the cockpit, and I moved the S-foils closer to the main wing. The wing is also more detailed, plus the spring loaded shooters are moved to the place of the secondary proton torpedo launcher.
That last "update" was not good enough as I left the horribly incorrect wings and rear section alone. This time, I actually updated it.
When I received Vesa Lehtimäki's book for christmas, I was inspired to take some photos in the snow.
The KAF F-78 Kite is a Kerbin Air Force 5th generation stealth fighter inspired by the F-35 lightning II and the YF-23 Black Widow II. The F-35 gives it its fuselage, and the YF-23 gives it the tail and wing shape.
I noticed the pile of Endor speeder bikes in my basement, and I thought back to the 2010 Imperial Hoth Battle Pack. I was going to just rebuild a white speeder bike but instead decided that I could do better, and this was the perfect excuse to build a MOC snow biker scout.
I was inspired by the release of the 2014 Rebel Snowspeeder set to make some changes to my own T-47. It was originally a Snowspeeder from the 2010 Wampa cave set.

D.M.C.I love building aircraft in KSP, and I'm an aircraft geek in general. I also love LEGO, so I will have mixed KSP and LEGO posts. Categories |
